HeartDogs – Assistance & Therapy Dogs with Indies

HeartDogs Enablement Foundation trains rescued Indian street dogs - Indies - as assistance dogs, service dogs, and therapy animals for people with disabilities, including autism, mobility challenges, hearing impairment, and mental health conditions. Our foster-trainers are women in rural India who raise and train these dogs from puppyhood using force-free, positive reinforcement methods. Trained dogs are placed with families, hospitals, schools, and rehabilitation centres across India. We work with individual families, healthcare institutions, and corporate partners looking to support disability inclusion, animal welfare, and rural livelihoods through CSR and ESG programmes. HeartDogs is India\'s first structured programme to train Indies as assistance and service dogs - making trained support animals accessible to families who need them most.
