Born in 1929 in Ayodhya, Swami Prakashanand Saraswati, or Shree Swamiji, declined the offer to become Jagadguru Shankaracharya in 1952 to follow his deep love for Radha Krishn. He spent 20 years in Braj in devotion and began teaching raganuga bhakti in 1972, founding the International Society of Divine Love.
