The Mumbai to Badrinath yatra is a long yet spiritually rewarding journey undertaken by thousands of pilgrims every year. Located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand at an altitude of 3,133 metres (10,279 feet), Badrinath holds a unique religious position as it is the only temple included in both Char Dham circuits—the All-India Char Dham as well as the Uttarakhand Char Dham. It is also counted among the Panch Badri and Sapta Badri temples. Every year, thousands of devotees plan their Badrinath yatra from Mumbai via Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun, making proper route planning, travel mode selection, and altitude awareness essential.
